My Cinquain Poem

A cinquain is sort of like a haiku poem. 

It has 5 lines with certain syllables for each line .

Here is my Cinquain poem:

Summer

Warm and sunny

Jump and play all the day

Happy and free to be me

Playful.

My Haiku Poem

Today I learned about Haiku poems. It is a Japanese poem. The first line has to have five syllables. The second line has to have seven. The third line has five. I wrote one today.

Dew drops on roses 

In the shining morning sun 

summers are happy.

My Poetry: Patience

Patience

Patience is not like a car. 

Patience is not like a motorcycle.

Patience is time flying past you like a bird gliding in the sky.

Patience is like snow melting on the ground.

Patience is like a garden bush growing.

Patience is filled with opportunities.

My Fun Christmas

 My Christmas was awesome. I got a Pillow pet, a lava lamp, some clothes and boots. Best of all I got an....... Electric scooter ! :)   

 Jake got a lot but he loves his truck. He calles it his fong-o-jia. That is Chinese.

Grant got his electric scooter too! :)

We love the snow. I made 2 forts in my yard and I went to my friends house and we made a fort.

Today me and my mom went to different places and I took pictures.This picture is a decoration on a telephone line. 

This is a picture of horse. I made it look like a old camera took it.

For the winner of my last post, Uncle David will get the thrill of guessing my picture and a big smile from me. For you others, I will put another picture and give you more time to guess!

Here are three pictures of a flower that I took in my sunroom. For my photography class, I'm learning how to focus and take close-up pictures. 

This photograph was retouched to fade the color and blurred it a little to make it look cool. 

I edited this picture to make it look more colorful.

I took this photo using a higher aperture.
An aperture is when the shutter of the camera lets more light into the camera.
The result makes it look brighter.

Results!

Ok Uncle David got it right.  It was a calculator!!
