My Poetry: Patience

Patience

Patience is not like a car.
Patience is not like a motorcycle.
Patience is time flying past you like a bird gliding in the sky.
Patience is like snow melting on the ground.
Patience is like a garden bush growing.
Patience is filled with opportunities.

  3. You come from a family of those who enjoy poetry. Once Grammy, Poppy, Daddy, Mommy were all in a car and saw a field of daffodils. Grammy started the poem The Daffodil, Poppy came in with a verse and your mommy finished it. Your daddy, not to be outdone, who was also exposed to great poetry said, "I am Sam, Sam I am, would you like green eggs and ham?

Family is so fun. Wish I could be with you more.
    Love you, Omi
