At the beach

At the beach I found lots of shells. I also found some sort of eggs. I think they're crab eggs because I found them in the sand. Grant and I love the water. When me and Grant were out there, a huge wave came and I got sucked under. I got out and said "lets do that again". I love making sand castles!

  1. This was a fun day! I remember those little eggs...I think they were sea monster eggs, and the next time we go to the beach, you'd better watch out or it will nibble at your toes in the water! Nice post, Ally, and good choice for the pictures!

  2. Actually, these are horseshoe crab eggs, I'm pretty sure.

Ask your mom to go to the web address above for a picture. Also, there's a program called "Green Eggs and Sand"...for schoolroom use to study the horseshoe crab. We have more of them on our local beaches than any other place in the world, and they are very useful for many things, including medical research.
